She’s a well-known art YouTuber and small business owner who shares tips about running a creative business and marketing for artists.
I've been following her YouTube channel and watching her videos a lot, and I recently got her workbook for art entrepreneurs. It’s a long book, so I’m reading it chapter by chapter.
Going through her insights has made me feel more hopeful about my future as an artist and entrepreneur. It’s inspiring me to push forward, improve my workflow, and grow my small business.
Now that it’s been a full month since New Year’s Day, I feel like I’m on the right track. So, I want to share my February goals to hold myself accountable and stay motivated to achieve them.
My Goals for February:
Content Creation & Engagement
Livestreaming once a week on YouTube
Sharing new content weekly (New animations, shorts, and podcasts)
Posting on my community tab twice a week
I want to stay consistent with my content so my audience can stay engaged. My goal is to create high-quality content while keeping a manageable schedule. If it's too much for me, I know I can adjust the schedule anytime.
Community & Events
Hosting an art event (DTIYS)
Creating a special Valentine’s Day artwork using Live2D
I want to interact more with my community and make fun events! This month, I’m hosting a "Draw This In Your Style" (DTIYS) event, and I’m also planning a special Valentine's Day artwork using Live2D. Learning Live2D is one of my main goals this year, so this is a great opportunity for me to create more complex animation.
Learning & Productivity
Making more helpful lessons and creating more assets for my art course
Starting to share Chapter 3 of PPGZA bi-weekly (starting from February 7th)
Using my time more efficiently and staying productive
I want to make my course better, so I want to create more lessons and assets that help artists learn how to make animatics!
Also, I’ve been making progress on the PPGZA series, and I’m excited to start sharing Chapter 3 regularly from this month. It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but I know it’ll be worth it.
This is completely off-topic, but I have a play coming up later this month, which will be a nice change of pace and a fun experience!
I have a lot planned for February, but I’m excited to tackle these goals one by one. Writing them down helps me stay focused, and I hope that sharing them will keep me accountable. Let’s see how much progress I can make!
